LODGE ST. MICHAEL NO. 878Lodge Saint Michael No 878 was consecrated on the 6th of July 1927 at 5, Leinster Street, Dublin. The lodge works the Irish Ritual which was published in 1925. The founder of our Federation, Annie Besant, a fervent humanitarian and proponent of women's emancipation, was accompanied by eight brethren from England for the consecration and founding of the Lodge. The lodge went into abeyance in 1966 but was resuscitated at Newtownards on the 21st of March 1987. Many of St. Michael's records were lost in the 2009 fire. |
