Masonic regalia varies in nature and style, according to degree. The regalia used by the British Federation of the International Order of Co-Freemasonry Le Droit Humain follows the practice of United Grand Lodge of England, it being the strongest Order of male Masonry in this country.
Masonic regalia serves the same purpose as the medals and badges of rank worn by military personnel - to identify the rank or nature of the wearer and to acknowledge distinguished service or contribution to particular campaigns, usually signified by medals awarded, or, in our case, masonic jewels. The picture shown here is a detail from a Holy Royal Arch degree sash.
As regalia can be quite an expense, we also have a special department, dedicated to the administration of new and secondhand regalia, the Margaret Dudley Regalia Fund.
