CO-FREEMASONRY
In the world today different Masonic organisations or "Obediences"
exist which are masculine, feminine and mixed.
Within the Co-Freemasonry of Le Droit Humain men and women work together
in same Lodges on equal footing which is essential to the development
of progress, equality and harmony for the future of any society.
The fundamental principles of the Order of International Co-Freemasonry are defined by the first three articles
of its International Constitution.
Article 1 -
The Order of International Co-Freemasonry, "Le Droit Humain", affirms the equality of man and woman.
Through its title "Le Droit Humain" the Order proclaims its desire that men and women, throughout the
world, shall be entitled in equal degree to the enjoyment of Social Justice within a Humanity organised in free
and fraternal societies.
Article 2 -
Composed as it is of freemasons, men and women, fraternally united without distinction of racial, ethnic, philosophical
or religious order, the Order prescribes, with this end in view, a method of working which is both ceremonial and
symbolic by means of which its members build their Temple to the perfection and glory of Humanity.
Article 3 -
In addition to respecting independence from all religious institutions and organizations and all beliefs concerning
survival or non-survival after death, its members seek, above all to realise the greatest possible degree of moral,
intellectual and spiritual development for all people. It believes this to be the pre-requisite for all happiness,
attainable by each individual, in a fraternally organized Humanity.
